Welcome to the Specials Connection page! This is the fifth year that specials teachers will collaborate on a theme which will be addressed throughout the year.  In the past, topics have included the Olympics, Fairy Tales, Fables, and Nursery Rhymes, the Wild West and French Culture Day.  This year our theme moves from global to national as we celebrate  AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL.

Concert Dates Announced

The Spring Concerts have been scheduled as follows: the K-1-2 Spring Concert will be held on May 9 in the LPES gym, and the 3-4-5 concert will be held on June 6 in the LPES gym. Each grade will have an area of the world represented by one of the Olympic rings. Kindergarten will sing songs from the United States, 1st from Asia, 2nd from Africa. The third grade will sing songs from Oceana, 4th, the Americas, and 5th grade will represent Europe. In class, we will study the musical culture of that area, including songs, instruments, and dance. The concert will demonstrate the students' knowledge of that culture.
