Grade 2 Classroom Guidance
The classroom guidance curriculum for grade 2 focuses on:
1) building social and emotional skills needed for success in school.
2) introduction to careers with a focus on exploration of skills, abilities, and interests.
The Kelso Program
The lessons in this unit focus on helping the students develop conflict management skills, including bullying prevention. The lessons are adapted from a research-based curriculum called Kelso's Choice. Currently, all lessons in this unit are conducted by Mrs. Michelfelder.
